incompetent, 1 internet is free yes, but the bandwidth the campanies are making available to you is not free they pay for it so it is normal that you get a cap on your line because u use too mutch bandwidth, perhaps if you where more inteligent you would see that the backbone companies charges our providersssssss too mutch and that is the real problem dont blame bell for a cap yes they do cap but others do…

Yes. You will get a basic package, just like cable TV, and then have to pay for other sites on a pay per page basis. If you want to research anything you will be limited to what you can afford. It will create a tiered access where the rich get it all and little ol’ me and you get Fox, CBC, and of course anything they don’t want you to see will no longer be available. Opinions will be supressed, justice delayed, the same propaganda as T.V., OHHHH! Canada!!
I know the costs of bandwidth, apperently you do not. its pennys per gig total cost to transfer. The prices rogers/bell charge are outragous in the first place. They cover more then the cost of 1tb of transfer for every user. They just perfer to shove as meny people on the network as possible witout upgrading it.

No there is not a way to get free internet, besides maybe using WIFI on the device.
If the neighbors are using wep there are several good wep crackers that can be found. Some even run on windows! If using WPA that is a different nut to crack! Of course most wireless routers will revert to factory settings if the reset button is held down for 30 seconds, opening up the network to the world. So the smart neighbor will have used WPA and secured his router away from prying eyes! As many neighbors are not this smart, the use of a high gain directional antenna will sometime reveal the neighbors with the lesser capabilities allowing the squirrels to fill their coffers.

Like the contract is on your SIM card, I'm pretty sure the unlimited web bolt on is on your SIM card aswell, so yes. To make sure, ring your service provider (I'm assuming you're on O2 – if so, dial 202) speak with someone and ask them "does this account/SIM card (they'll be on your account information on the computer) have unlimited web access/web bolt on feature" and obviously if they reply yes then yes! I'm pretty sure you still have it, though.

It doesnt surprise me that the Canadian media doesnt keep track on something as greatly important to them.
So you Support capitalism, or you trying to help the little guy providers. that wouldnt have to worry about getting screwed if this bill went through and after all aint it suppose to be about the equality of the peoples rights in this great nation, not about corporations or small businesses paying to much for bandwidth that should be leveled and shared not horded, and discriminating by who gets more and who doesnt.
