Satellite Internet Service providers generally offer any one of the offers, so choose accordingly, because you’d want the most cost efficient one! One-way satellite Internet service comes cheaper than two-way satellite Internet. What would you like to use the Internet for, a true broadband experience or a downloading frenzy? What are the costs like? Does one have to pay an arm and a leg to install one? If you chose a one way satellite Internet access system you can install it yourself and save $150. Monthly costs may vary according to the Internet browsing speed that you desire. Satellite Internet service in general costs more than Cable Internet and other forms of Internet. But, if you live out in the country satellite Internet access is still your only high speed option.
There are a few drawbacks as well to Satellite Internet access. One is that, you need to have a clear, unobstructed view of the southern sky from your house in order to receive the broadband signal, and secondly, you might notice time lags, called latency, between clicking a link and receiving data. This doesn’t inhibit your internet activities, but does cause problems if you’re playing online games.

If you can’t get wireless to work, use a wired connection.
Help answer the question about Internet Service
What are some internet service providers that you don't need a landline to connect to?I don't have internet at home and got rid of my landline years ago, I used to connect to the internet thru Comcast and Verizon but I am still paying off those bills.
Are there any other service providers that just use a modem to connect to the internet. Both with my Comcast and Verizon I put the phone line into the phone jack and theo ther end into the modem.
I do not have a home phone (landline) either, just the port/jack

yes i can help.it doesn't matter what kinda internet you have (wireless or wired)just go to the connection settings.go to scan.it should scan your connection.when its done.choose the one that has the best signal(it should be your signal) then if you have normal internet (no wireless) just put no WEP key.then put easy.once you done that your done and set.
If you have Wireless internet.go to scan.then get the one with best signal.then go to WEP Key.if you don't know how to put the WEP Key.look at your internet the one that has 4 lights.look for the serial number.if you 3 diff kind.try the middle code. type it down.then go on.after put easy.and try your connection.

Do you have the router in another room? While the Ps3 is searching for the ip unplug the router and plug it back in or press the button (on the bottom if your router has one) so the router will aquire the ps3 signal.
Goto settings
Goto network settings
Goto network connection, select enable
Goto Internet connection settings just below internet connection-
Push yes when it says you may be disconnected
Select wired or wireless
For wireless use scan or enter manually
Follow on screen instructions.
Once that is set up return to main menu and go to network near the right
Then once in the internet browser press triangle and goto file and enter the internet address you would like visit.
