Hi magicismylife,
I am sorry to say that there isn’t a 3G version of this phone.
No, Yahoo!'s Phone In service does not allow you to receive incoming collect calls.
Skype, I have all the popular VOIP programs. This one is the most reliable and I can use it whether a person has a PC or MAC, audio and video alike. It's all around a wonderful program. You can also call phones, cell or landline for a great price, plus they offer their own landline phones that you can use with the service. Yahoo has issues with Mac/PC compatibility. I take it that you have friends and family where not all have PCs so you might as well get a program that can tap into all computer systems. Thank you for serving and sacrificing for us. I salute you even when the media and left wingers don't allow us to.
Is there a 3G version to this?!?!?
Plz reply!!!
No.
It doesn't sound like a problem with your phone. It could be a problem with the vonage service, but more likely its a problem with your internet connection or your vonage router. Try rebooting the vonage router by unplugging for a minute or two and and then plugging it back in. See if you can make a call after that.
If it still doesn't work i'd recommend using your cell phone to call vonage tech support.
1-VONAGE-HELP (1-866-243-4357)
I would ask to speak to a supervisor and threaten with contacting the Better Business Bureau.
yes, that is true….some Broadband service don't let collect calls get thru…try to use this…

all you have to do is put an access number before, and no one will know it….
this is there a way to purchase the battery for this phone.
sounds to me that something is not setup correctly , because voip should not require port forwarding
from your cable modem you should be hooked to the vonage
modem ( not the router ) from the back of the vonage the ethernet cable should then go to the router then from the router to any pc
China phones Are GAY NO BS
the best way to do it now is with MagicJack!
I have 4 family members who use it!!!
we used skype and yahoo before, but this little gizmo, called the skype killer is really the best! there is a one time fee of 39.99 and 19.99 per year thereafter!!!
it looks like a thumb drive and you just plug it into the USB drive…..after you're done, remove it and take it with you!
Which model of ATA phone adapter are you using?
Is it locked to ViaTalk, or are you allowed to self-configure?
If it is locked to VaiTalk, then ask their support if they can remotely reprovision the ATA?
You said the ATA worked before the "upgraded" their systems. The ATA you have may require some reconfiguration to accomodate whatever the system changes they implemented are.
Did the ATA work behind you router before ViaTalk upgraded their systems?
VoIP ATA should work behind Router with dynamic DHCP IP – mine do. Generally speaking, the only real reason to go static IP is to implement QOS. But, port forwarding and port triggering should not require you to use static IP.
In DMZ all ports are open, so port forwarding does not sound like the issue.
If your ATA works directly plugged int modem but not behind router in DMZ, that sounds more like a NAT Traversal issue. If you are saying ViaTalk upgraded their systems and it worked for you before they upgraded, then they may have changed how they approach NAT Traversal.
User configurable ATA's often have settings that facalitate NAT Traversal issues. If your ATA is locked to ViaTalk, then they need to "re-provision" the ATA to accomodate any system setting changes they may have changed.
I use my own user configurable (unlocked) Linksys PAP2T-NA behind Linksys WRT-54G. I configured to trigger-forward all SIP ports (5060-5065 UDP ) and RTP ports (16384-16482 UDP as required by Linksys ATA).
I configure line-1 with CallCentric and Line-2 with InPhonex.
My ATA is set for Enable NAT Mapping and Enable NAT Keep Alive.
Some services require STUN server assistance to facilitate NAT Traversal. I have a 3CX softphone that would not work with my InPhonex service until I enabled the STUN server support. If NAT Mapping and NAT Keep Alive don't fix your issue, try enabling STUN server support in the ATA.
Just set STUN "enable" and the STUN server as stun.3cx.com
you should check everything you own and where it is made. and come back and tell me that most if not all your products are made in China.
